BSE closes 169.65 points down on May 2

New Delhi, May 2 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 169.65 points down to stand at 25,436.97. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 43.90 points down to stand at 7,805.90. Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd and UPL Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 15.31%and 10.46% along with Raymond Ltd and Dabur India Ltd with an increase of 8.36 % and 7.37% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Atul Ltd andAmtek Auto Ltd with a decrease of 4.20% and 4.13% along with ICICI Bank Ltd and Repco Home Finance Ltd with a decrease of 4.08% and 3.28% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 48.92 points at 18518.32 while the Banking sector is down 255.76 points at 18859.07 and the Realty sector is down 8.03 points at1348.68. The Indian currency was up at 0.08% with Rs. 66.38 per dollar.
