The rate of interest on Government of India Floating Rate Bond 2033 (GOI FRB 2033) applicable for the half year March 22, 2023 to September 21, 2023 shall be 8.51 percent per annum, RBI announced. The central bank further said that it may be recalled that FRB 2033 carries a coupon, which has a base rate equivalent to the average of the Weighted Average Yield (WAY) of last three auctions (from the rate fixing day, i.e., March 22, 2023) of 182 Day T-Bills, plus a fixed spread (1.22 percent).

Tata Motors: Tata Motors will be implementing a price increase of up to 5% on its commercial vehicles starting from 1 April 2023. The decision to increase prices is a result of the company's efforts to comply with the more stringent BS6 phase II emission norms.

At 14.55 GMT, the pan European Stoxx 600 index was up 1.35% to 446.54. The U.K.'s FTSE 100 index added 1.7% to 7,529.34. France's CAC40 index inclined 1.54% to 7,121.21. Germany's DAX index rose 1.8% to 15,200.88. Switzerland's Swiss Market index gained 1.33% to 10,785.48.


EUROPE Stocks rebound on easing banking contagion fears


At closing bell, the Straits Times Index (STI) index inclined 34.17 points, or 1.09%, to 3,173.93 after trading between 3,157.81 and 3,186.69. Volume was 1.34 billion shares worth S$967.47 million changed hands. There were 319 gainers and 234 decliners.

Domestic stock market jumped on Tuesday, tracking positive global cues. Falling crude oil prices, easing banking crises in the US and likely pause in rate hikes from the US Fed this week, supported buying. The Nifty settled above the 17,100 level. Banks and financial services stocks were in demand. On the other hand, IT, healthcare and FMCG stocks declined.
