It won its first three bouts and secured three medals through Nitu Ganghas (Women's 48 kg), Nikhat Zareen (Women's 50 kg) and Muhammad Hussamuddin (Men's 54-57 kg), but lost the last two bouts of the Olympic bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain and Olympian Ashish Kumar (men's 80 kg) on a split decision, which were not really taken well by the losing boxers because they thought they deserved the vioctory.
