Real Estate shares edge higher
Real Estate stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 26.47 points or 0.81% at 3294.69 at 09:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 6.42%), Sobha Ltd (up 1.19%),Brigade Enterprises Ltd (up 1.17%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.16%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 1.07%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.9%), Macrotech Developers Ltd (up 0.81%), Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.74%), DLF Ltd (up 0.43%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.38%).
At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 576.41 or 1.03% at 56394.52.
The Nifty 50 index was up 136.25 points or 0.82% at 16764.25.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 192.59 points or 0.72% at 26887.37.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 34.16 points or 0.42% at 8237.96.
On BSE,2044 shares were trading in green, 700 were trading in red and 114 were unchanged.
