Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.55%

Nifty Realty index ended up 2.55% at 435.95 today. The index has gained 15.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd rose 5.32%, Sunteck Realty Ltd added 4.97% and Oberoi Realty Ltd gained 4.87%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 9.00% over last one year compared to the 3.73% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index gained 2.29% and Nifty Private Bank index gained 1.17% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.38% to close at 16340.55 while the SENSEX increased 0.45% to close at 54767.62 today.
