Information Technology stocks slide

Information Technology stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index decreasing 300.79 points or 0.98% at 30444.74 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Sasken Technologies Ltd (down 2.07%), 3i Infotech Ltd (down 2.01%),Tanla Platforms Ltd (down 1.91%),Infosys Ltd (down 1.82%),Wipro Ltd (down 1.65%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were R Systems International Ltd (down 1.61%), Cigniti Technologies Ltd (down 1.47%), Nucleus Software Exports Ltd (down 1.46%), Mindtree Ltd (down 1.38%), and Birlasoft Ltd (down 1.36%).

On the other hand, NELCO Ltd (up 10%), Infibeam Avenues Ltd (up 5.91%), and Aurum Proptech Ltd (up 4.98%) turned up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 151.08 or 0.25% at 60109.05.

The Nifty 50 index was down 50.6 points or 0.28% at 17893.65.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 50.21 points or 0.18% at 28393.21.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 1.26 points or 0.01% at 8952.55.

On BSE,1779 shares were trading in green, 1580 were trading in red and 126 were unchanged.
