CCI approves merger of HDFC and HDFC Bank
Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has received the approval of Competition Commission of India on 12 August 2022 for the proposed composite scheme of amalgamation ("Scheme") for the amalgamation of: (i) HDFC Investments and HDFC Holdings, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Housing Development Finance Corporation, with and into HDFC and (ii) HDFC with and into HDFC Bank (HDFC Bank)
