Launch of the e-SHRAM portal by the government will facilitate better execution of various social security schemes for all unorganised sector workers, India Inc said on Thursday

The current social security laws in India exclude about 90 per cent of the workforce - mainly in the unorganised sector.

The NSO report is based on the payroll data of new subscribers of various social security schemes run by ESIC, retirement fund body EPFO and pension fund regulator PFRDA.
