Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said its hydrocarbon business has bagged two 'significant' offshore projects from an overseas client. As per the company, a significant order is valued at Rs 1,000-2,500 crore. The scope of work comprises engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning for the expansion of a marine terminal and replacement of electrical switchgear and protection equipment at existing facilities. "The hydrocarbon business of Larsen & Toubro has secured two offshore projects from a prestigious overseas client," the company said in a statement. L&T is currently executing several domestic and international offshore projects. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said its construction arm has bagged a large order for its buildings and factories business from the Odisha government to construct clinical blocks and allied infrastructure for a hospital in Cuttack. The duration of the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project is 30 months, the company said in a statement. The project involves construction of four clinical blocks comprising composite structural systems and other ancillary buildings. The facility will cover specialty departments such as neurology, nephrology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology, hepatology, cardiology, surgical blocks, casualty, trauma and general surgery with a total of 2,058 beds. The scope of work includes design and execution of architecture and structurecomposite system among others.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said its construction arm has won significant contracts including an order for the construction of a bridge on river Ganga in Bihar. The company did not specify the exact value of the contracts but as per its specification a significant contract ranges between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore.
