L&T Technology Services (LTTS) on Thursday announced a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Mysore, Karnataka, that leverages the power of the cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The CoE will allow L&T Technology Services to transition its suite of technologies focused on the future of mobility and reduce time-to-market for end customers. "By leveraging AWS infrastructure, LTTS will provide an opportunity to use AWS to support the automotive domain," according to a release. Engineering services company L&T Technology Services (LTTS) announced on Monday the opening of its new campus in Mysuru to cater to the design and development of embedded solutions, digital products and software engineering. The new 'Module X' campus houses eight floors with engineers in this centre working on a wide spectrum of services covering multiple industries, the company said in a statement. The campus has a capacity to seat over 1,300 engineers who will be working on high-end projects for LTTS' global clientele, it said. LTTS said it has laid out plans to hire over 1,000 engineers in Mysuru over the next two years as it rapidly expands its delivery and design centre in the city to cater to burgeoning demand for engineering services.
IT company L&T Technology Services on Tuesday posted a 22.7 per cent growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 282.4 crore for the second quarter ended September 2022. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 230 crore in the same period a year ago. The consolidated revenue from operations of L&T Technology Services (LTTS) grew about 24 per cent to Rs 1,995 crore from Rs 1,607.7 crore in the September 2021 quarter. LTTS CEO and Managing Director Amit Chadha said the company has achieved annualised revenue run-rate of USD 1 billion (about Rs 8,000 crore) in constant currency terms. "We are proud to have achieved a USD 1 billion annualized revenue run-rate in the second quarter on constant currency basis. Engineering services firm L&T Technology Services announced on Monday that it has won a five-year, multi-million-dollar deal from European luxury automaker BMW Group to provide high-end engineering services for its suite of infotainment consoles targeted for its family of hybrid vehicles. The LTTS team of engineers will be providing services in the areas of software build and integration, infotainment validation and defect management, the company said in a statement. "The large deal was awarded to LTTS because of its deep domain expertise and engineering leadership in transportation technologies and LTTS' proven ability to offer unique opportunities to scale up existing projects and work on new ones," it said. L&T Technology Services on Thursday reported an increase of 34.7 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 262 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 194.5 crore in the same period a year ago. "We achieved several milestones in FY22 a dollar revenue growth of 20 per cent in constant currency, record high operating margins, and more than three-fold increase in patents filed by our engineers. L&T Technology Services (LTTS) on Wednesday reported an 84 per cent jump in its June quarter net at Rs 216.2 crore, largely on widening margins. The city-based company, the engineering and research and development services arm of the infra major L&T, had posted a net profit of Rs 117.2 crore in the year-ago period. Its overall revenue increased by 19.42 per cent to Rs 1,562.6 crore for the reporting quarter, while the operating profit widened 5.20 per cent to 17.3 per cent, its highest ever. L&T Technology Services on Thursday said Amit Chadha has taken charge as the company's CEO and managing director. Amit Chadha has taken over as CEO and MD of LTTS, effective April 1, in line with previous disclosures made to stock exchanges dated October 19, 2020, according to a statement.
