"The board is firm on its decision to file a review petition in the Supreme Court and we have time till December 9 for doing so," Secretary of the Board Zafaryab Jilani told PTI.
The AIMPLB, which was not a party to the law suit, has previously said a review petition will be filed by December 9
Soon after the verdict, the AIMPLB had expressing dissatisfaction with it and said the board was contemplating seeking a review of the judgment
The board also made it clear to Chauhan that it would not accept any change in the Muslim personal law as it was "divine" and based on religious text
On the row over the board reportedly looking to set up such courts in every district of the country, Jilani said it was not true and he was misquoted
