The Tamil Nadu government sealed the AIADMK party headquarters in Chennai following clashes between party members on Monday in the wake of the power struggle between former chief ministers Edappadi K Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam, resulting in the sealing of the party office by revenue officials."Due to the violence at AIADMK party office, RDO has sealed the party HQ. A day after Speaker P Dhanapal disqualified 18 All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) supporting TTV Dhinakaran, a family member of V K Sasikala, the dissenting MLAs approached the Madras High Court today. The court has permitted to file the petition and allowed hearing on Wednesday.On Tuesday, acting Governor C Vidyasagar Rao has reached Chennai in the afternoon, amidst the turmoil in the ruling party.The dissenting MLAs, who earlier submitted letters to the Acting Governor C Vidyasagar Rao that they have lost their trust on Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, would put forward their arguments against the Speaker's decision in the Court on Wednesday, said sources.The Governor has reached Chennai in the afternoon, amidst the tussle in the ruling party.
