Geneva (Switzerland), Apr 11 (ANI): The World Health Organization (WHO) on April 11 said the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) based tests for coronavirus are probably the most accurate of the lot among other tests being conducted to diagnose if a person is infected with COVID-19 or not. "Polymerase chain reaction based tests are probably the most accurate way to determine if someone is infected with COVID-19. Governments need to focus specifically on PCR based testing or any form of testing that detects active infection," said Dr. Michael J Ryan, WHO Executive Director for Health Emergencies Programme.
