BSE closes points 297.08 down on April 24

New Delhi, April 24 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 297.08 points down to stand at 27,437.94. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 93.05 points down to stand at 8,305.25. SHRIRAM CITY UNION FINANCE LTD. and GODREJ CONSUMER PRODUCTS LTD. were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 4.30% and 3.50% along with BHARAT FORGE LTD. and NMDC with an increase of 3.38% and 3.37% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include JET AIRWAYS and SPARC with a decrease of 8.63% and 7.93% along with BF UTILITIES LTD. and BOSCH LTD. with a decrease of 7.47% and 7.35% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 98.26 points at 18,294.07 while the banking sector is down 279.39 points at 20,673.96 and the realty sector is down at 62.95 points at 1,573.07. The Indian currency is up 0.48% at Rs 63.62 per dollar.
