Wipro Q1 FY25 results: Net profit rises 5.2% to Rs 3,036.6 crore

IT services segment revenue was at $2,625.9 million, a decrease of 1.2 per cent Q-o-Q and a decrease of 5.5 per cent Y-o-Y

Bengaluru-based IT services major Wipro posted a net profit of Rs 3,036.6 crore for the first quarter of FY25, up 5.2 per cent from a year ago. Profit was up 6.2 per cent quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) and above consensus Bloomberg estimates of Rs 2,931 crore.
Revenue for the March quarter was down 3.79 per cent from the year-ago period to Rs 21,963.8 crore. This was below consensus Bloomberg estimates that pegged the revenue at Rs 22,237.4 crore.
