Stock Market LIVE Updates, Tuesday, April 29, 2025: Indian benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 were trading on a muted note, in range bound trading on Tuesday, amid mixed global cues.
At 1:00 PM, the BSE Sensex was higher by 112 points, or 0.14 per cent, at 80,330, and the Nifty 50 was at 24,311.15, higher by 23 points, or 0.12 per cent at 24,365.
Analysts are raising concerns about India Inc.'s earnings growth prospects in the coming quarters, even as stock indices recover from recent lows. Standard Chartered analysts have downgraded equities across major regions, including India, to ‘neutral,’ citing policy uncertainty related to US tariffs and elevated market volatility.
