Oriental Aromatics jumped 8.08% to Rs 568.65 after the company said that its proposed Greenfield project in Mahad (Maharashtra) received environmental clearance.
The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Oriental Aromatics & Sons, secured the environmental clearance for the proposed Greenfield project for manufacturing speciality chemicals & chemical intermediates at Mahad, Raigad, Maharashtra.The State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, granted the environmental clearance vide its letter dated 9 June 2022.
Oriental Aromatics are engaged in the manufacturing and sale of fine chemicals i.e. camphor, perfumery & specialty aroma chemicals, fragrances and flavour in India.
On consolidated basis, the speciality chemicals company reported 53.2% decline in net profit to Rs 10.48 crore on a 8.4% fall in net sales to Rs 202.87 crore in Q4 FY22 over Q4 FY21.
