In May 2022, the average client funding book rose to Rs 18.84 million, recording a month-on-month growth of 9.8%. The number of orders rose to 70.63 million compared to 66.14 million in April 2022 and 47.61 million in May 2021.
The overall average daily turnover (ADTO) fell 5.7% to Rs 8,942 billion in month of May 2022 over April 2022. The F&O ADTO declined 5.5% to Rs 8729 billion.
Due to unavailability of industry data, May 2022 retail turnover market share for overall equity and cash segments is unavailable. The retail market share in F&O segment declined by 151 bps to 19.9% in May 2022 compared to 21.4% in April 2022.
