Who is Karan Adani?
Karan Adani is the elder son of billionaire Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Adani Ports & SEZ Limited (APSEZ) since 2016.
Karan, who looks after the strategic development of Adani ports across India, has been involved in managing various port operations for the firm since 2009.In September 2022, Karan Adani was appointed as the non-executive director of Ambuja Cement and as the non-executive chairman of ACC.
