Alarmed parents laid siege to a Texas high school Tuesday after a classroom shooting report that ultimately proved to be false. Two suspects, including a teen, have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Fort Worth last week that left a 17-year-old and a 5-year-old dead, police said Tuesday. Anthony Ray Bell-Johnson, 21, and a 16-year-old male juvenile have been charged with capital murder. In a statement, police said the pair were arrested and jailed over the Labour Day weekend. Two people were killed and five injured including two police officers when a man armed with a semi-automatic rifle and wearing tacticalgear began a seemingly random attack in Phoenix on Sunday night before killing himself, authorities said. Phoenix police identified the man on Monday as 24-year-old Isaiah Steven Williams. They said he was found to have a single gunshot wound to the head, consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound although the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death. It wasn't immediately clear Monday where Williams lived and if he had a criminal record. Detroit police search for gunman in fatal 'random' shootings that injured 4

Four people were shot, three fatally, by a man who appeared to be firing at people randomly over a roughly 2 1/2-hour period Sunday morning in Detroit, police said. Four people were killed, including a local law enforcement official, in a shooting Thursday at an apartment complex in southern Arizona, officials said. Police in Tucson identified one of the victims as Pima County Constable Deborah Martinez-Garibay and another as a employee of the apartment complex, KVOA-TV reported. Swedish police say two people have been wounded in a shooting at a shopping centre in the southern city of Malmo. A suspected was arrested after the shooting Friday afternoon at the Emporia shopping center, which police said appeared to be gang-related. Police are on site with big resources to map the incident by interviewing witnesses and going through material from surveillance cameras. The immediate danger to the public appears to be over, Malmo police said.
