The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday filed a chargesheet against 11 accused, including 10 residents of Madhya Pradesh, in a case related to the recovery of explosives from a private car in Rajasthan about six months ago, an official said. The chargsheet against the members of Sufa terrorist gang, who had hatched a conspiracy to commit terrorist acts, was filed before a special NIA Court in Jaipur, a spokesperson of the federal agency said. The case was initially registered on April 30 at Nimbaheda Police Station in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan following the recovery of explosives and was later re-registered by the NIA on May 20. "Investigations have revealed that main conspirator in the instant crime, Imran Khan of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and other co-accused persons, were members of Sufa terrorist gang and had hatched a conspiracy to commit terrorist acts, the official said. The Rajasthan Assembly on Thursday passed the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2022, which proposes that the registration of companies would not be cancelled even if they fail to file the return for six months. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will on Saturday launch the MSME Policy-2022 with a vision to set up 20,000 new MSME units with a total investment of Rs 10,000 crore and creating jobs for 1 lakh people. The policy proposes to give a relaxation of five years in approvals and inspections for setting up and promotion of the MSME units, an official statement said. Moderate to heavy rain occurred in many parts of Rajasthan in the 24-hour period ending at 8.30 am on Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The weather office has also predicted a decrease in rainfall activity in the state in the coming days. Light to moderate rain was recorded in most parts of east Rajasthan, while heavy rain was recorded in Jhalawar and Bharatpur districts, the Met department said.
