4 Indians on BBC's 100 Women' list of influential figures of 2022

Actor-producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas, aeronautical engineer Sirisha Bandla, Booker-winning author Geetanjali Shree and social worker Sneha Jawale are the four Indians on the BBC's 100 Women' list of influential figures of the year. Society should end stereotypes: UNICEF ambassador Priyanka Chopra

Stressing on gender equality, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Tuesday said government schemes are there, but the real need is to change the mindset of people towards girls and women. The UNICEF goodwill ambassador, who was on a two-day visit to the Uttar Pradesh capital since Monday, also described child abuse as a bane of society. "No matter how many schemes you implement, they have done (their job). But real change can come only by changing the mindset of society towards females," she told PTI here. Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Thursday announced partnership with beauty and wellness e-commerce firm FSN E-commerce, which operates under Nykaa brand, to launch her haircare brand Anomaly in India.
