Real estate firm Godrej Properties on Monday said it has acquired 0.5 acres of land in Mumbai to develop a luxury housing project with an estimated sales value of Rs 1,200 crore. In a regulatory filing, the company informed that it has bought a land parcel to develop a luxury project near Carmichael Road in Mumbai. The land parcel, spread across 0.5 acres, was purchased from the Karam Chand Thapar (KCT) group. The new project will have an estimated booking value potential of approximately Rs 1,200 crore, the company said. Godrej Properties on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 260.47 crore for the quarter ended March 2022 on higher income. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 191.57 crore in the year-ago period. Total income increased to Rs 1,522.57 crore during January-March quarter of the last fiscal year from Rs 576.08 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing. Mumbai-based Godrej Properties posted a net profit of Rs 352.37 crore during 2021-22 fiscal year as against a net loss of Rs 189.30 crore in the previous year. Realty firm Godrej Properties Ltd on Thursday said it has acquired a 58-acre land parcel in Nagpur to develop a residential project as part of its strategy to expand business. The company, which is part of Godrej group, did not disclose the value of this land deal. The development on this land will comprise primarily of plotted residential units, the company said in a regulatory filing. The project will offer an estimated saleable area of 1.5 million square feet. "We are happy to add this new project in Nagpur to our portfolio.
