Chicago-based US Futures Exchange (USFE) will exclusively licence the Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex for US dollar-denominated futures trading beginning February 22 next year.
This will allow US investors to directly participate in India's equity markets.
USFE's dollar-denominated Sensex futures contract will trade 23 hours a day and settle monthly to the corresponding value of the BSE's futures contract. The contract will have a notional value of 40,000 and a tick size of $5.
