New Delhi, May 5 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 41.23 points up to stand at 22,445.12. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 4.55 points up to stand at 6,699.35. Canara Bank and Century Tex were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 6.95% and 6.50% along with Suzlon Energy and Apollo Hospital with an increase of 5.83% and 5.25% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Financial Technologies Ltd and Pipavav Defence with a decrease of 4.99 % and 4.96% along with Reliance Communication and HCL Tech with a decrease of 3.93% and 3.38% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 43.73 points at 13,347.12 while the banking sector is up 58.62 points at 14,749.12 and the realty sector is down 11.11 points at 1,389.00. The Indian currency is down 0.05% at Rs 60.19 per dollar.
