IT Talent Outsourcing startup 'Supersourcing' lands half a million in a seed funding round!
.
Digitization has fueled the already raging IT talent war. The market is bound to reach $1.3 Trillion by 2023. Still, if you ask CEOs and entrepreneurs what the most challenging part of a business is, they'll reply —"hiring remote developers and engineers."
A large portion of the IT sector has shifted to the digital world. Developers and engineers prefer working remotely rather than on-site. But finding legitimate talent is where businesses hit a block. Co-founders Aditi Chaurasia and Mayank Pratap Singh launched Supersourcing in 2020 to bridge this gap between organizations and IT talent.
Supersourcing is an IT talent outsourcing platform. It connects organizations with verified IT agencies, cutting down tremendously on the challenging aspects of the hiring process.
How does Supersourcing verify its Talent?
It is a known fact that India is the largest source of IT talent. But often the hiring process is so hectic that this talent is not able to reach the right employer. The team of Supersourcing quickly takes care of all hectic aspects of hiring
Before adding an IT agency to their platform they verify their credibility and then follow up with thorough interviews of each candidate. Once the agency and its candidates are verified, then only their data is added to the platform for organizations to browse.
The process of hiring on the client's side is even easier. They can go through candidates' digital resumes on the platform which will cover all the pre-hiring aspects including, —a brief introduction of the candidate, work experience, Test score from the Best programming platform, and their role in past projects.
Once a client has shortlisted candidates, Supersourcing creates automated tests to verify their skills. Candidates who clear these tests are then interviewed by experts. And finally, the candidates who pass these interviews reach the final level of screening. In these levels, the client can interview candidates themselves and complete the hiring process.
But the work of Supersourcing doesn't end here. The platform also takes care of the post-hiring process. The startup collects work timesheets and monthly feedback from the reporting and account managers. They also deal with any issues occurring after the hiring process and ensure smooth communication between the client and engineers.
Global Problem
Clients globally are facing the problem of irresponsible remote workers, a hectic hiring process, and inefficient communications. At the same time, IT agencies are filled with insufficient projects and leads. Supersourcing has created a solution for both clients and IT agencies with its platform. They have developed a dashboard where clients can monitor the daily worksheets of hired engineers, efficiently communicate with them, and track the progress of projects. Partner agencies can also track their candidates performance and work records..
“We understand the challenges faced by IT agencies, engineers, and recruiters and have launched Supersourcing as a modern-day solution to all of them,” says Mayank Pratap Singh, co-founder and CEO, Supersourcing.
The past 18 months clearly prove that Supersourcing has the potential to soar high. The startup has seen steady growth with a 20% growth rate each month. It has also achieved a $3 Million ARR.
"We have proven our worth in delivering quality connections, as we've distributed nearly $10 million worth of work to over 300 agencies in the initial eight months since launching the platform," says Aditi about the platform's efficiency.
Supersourcing recently made headlines when it bagged a sum of $500k seed funding. The organization aims to use these funds to fuel its expansion and growth. Previously, Supersourcing had received funding from industry leaders —Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Founder & CEO, Paytm), Dr. Ritesh Malik (Founder, Innov8 coworking), and Nikhil Sharma (Principal Consultant, Capco).
