Ahead of the Union Budget 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday took a digital tablet wrapped in a traditional "bahi-khata" style pouch to the Parliament to present the annual financial statement in a paperless format. The budget is being presented in the paperless form for the past two years.
