IND vs SL 1st T20I Highlights: Mavi shines on debut as India win a thriller

India won a thriller as Sri Lanka which took the match to the last over with 13 needed off it, managed to get only 10 and lost the game by two runs to trail 0-1 in the three-match series. For India, debutant Shivam Mavi shone with his 4/22 spell and got a wicket every time it was needed. For the Lankan team, skipper Dasun Shanaka kept them in the game with his 45 off just 27 balls. He was supported by Wanindu Hasaranga 21(9) and Chamika Karunaratne 23 (16) in the end. But they couldn't get over the line. 

Earlier in the evening, after being asked to bat first, India lost wickets at regular intervals and were down to 94-5 in the 15th over before Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel added an unbeaten 68 off just 35 balls for the sixth wicket to get the men in blue to a respectable total.
