It was the all-round show of Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka, who picked two wickets bowling the last over and scored a 20-ball fifty to take Sri Lanka to victory and level the series 1-1. He was helped by Kusal Mendis and Charith Asalanka in the batting department and Kasun Rajitha and Maheesh Theekshan in the bowling.
For India, Axar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav hit a fifty each, but in vain.

India skipper Hardik Pandya has won the toss and decided to field first at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The Indian team have made two changes in its playing XI as Arshdeep Singh is fit and has replaced Harshal Patel while Rahul Tripathi has come in place of injured Sanju Samson. The Sri Lankan unit has made no changes as was expected.
