Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 3.49%, NIFTY climbs 2.58%

Nifty Realty index ended up 3.49% at 463.2 today. The index has added 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, DLF Ltd jumped 5.43%, Oberoi Realty Ltd added 5.25% and Macrotech Developers Ltd gained 5.15%. The Nifty Realty index has increased 20.00% over last one year compared to the 4.89% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Financial Services index increased 3.42% and Nifty Private Bank index increased 3.30% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 2.58% to close at 17759.3 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 2.70% to close at 59537.07 today.
