The 'Aarya' actress recently visited the Maldives with her two daughters and shared images from the vacation. Modi's photos with her on Twitter suggests he had also accompanied the former Miss Universe.
At first, people assumed the two has gotten married and Modi is announcing the marriage, but in another subsequent Twitter post, he clarified that they are dating and will possibly tie the knot one day.
Seeking asylum in UK, Modi is the main accused in the MSM and WSG facilitation fee scam. The scam took place when Lalit was the IPL Commissioner. After the media rights auction, the then MSM (Multi Screen Media Limited, now Sony Pictures Networks India) approached BCCI. It informed that it had awarded the media rights of telecasting IPL to World Sports Group (WSG) Mauritius. MSM also said that if WSG paid a facilitation fee of Rs 425 crore to WSG, it would transfer its rights. MSM and WSG Mauritius then entered a contract, and MSM initially paid Rs 125 crore. The amount was transferred to an account in Mauritius.
However, there was no such agreement between BCCI and WSG. These contracts were negotiated only by Lalit Modi. Several reports claimed that Lalit Modi might be a beneficiary of the Rs 125 crore.
