All 7,000 e-buses under FAME-II to run on roads in next one year: Official

All 7,000 electric buses under the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles in India-II (FAME-II) scheme will run in different cities of the country in the next one year, joint secretary in the Heavy Industries ministry Hanif Qureshi said at the Auto Expo 2023.

According to news agency PTI, Qureshi said that out of the 7,000 electric buses, over 3,000 e-buses are already operating in the country.
