Who was Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior. He studied at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Gwalior before doing BA in Hindi, English and Sanskrit from the city’s Victoria College and post-graduation in Political Science from DAV College, Kanpur. An orator par excellence, he was lauded as a statesman politician who would go far beyond his party’s core political agenda for the larger good.
